Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using BeaconCue you agree to these Terms. If you are signing up on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company to these Terms.

2. The service

BeaconCue provides a SaaS platform for team productivity, OKR tracking, ticket management, time logging, and leave management, primarily designed for companies with fewer than 50 employees. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials. Notify us immediately at hello@beaconcue.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

One workspace per company. Creating multiple workspaces to circumvent plan limits is a violation of these Terms.

4. Plans and payment

BeaconCue offers a free tier and paid plans as described on the Pricing page. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually. Prices are in USD and exclusive of applicable taxes.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time from Settings → Billing; your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period and you will not be charged again.

Refund policy: We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods or unused time remaining on a subscription. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us at hello@beaconcue.com within 7 days of the charge and we will review it. Refunds for billing errors are issued at our discretion.

Downgrading to a lower plan will take effect at the end of your current billing period. Upgrades take effect immediately.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use BeaconCue for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or another user's workspace.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the service.
  • Resell, sublicense, or white-label the service without our written consent.
  • Upload or transmit malicious code, spam, or abusive content.

6. Your data

You retain full ownership of the data you enter into BeaconCue. By using the service you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display that data solely to provide the service to you. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.

7. Intellectual property

The BeaconCue name, logo, application code, and design are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you a right to use our trademarks or branding.

8. Uptime and support

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee a specific uptime SLA on free or starter plans. We provide best-effort email support at hello@beaconcue.com. Priority support is available on Growth and Scale plans.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BeaconCue is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your access to the service ends and your data will be deleted within 30 days.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify account owners by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
